Golfers…..

What a beautiful day today at Rancho del Sol in Moreno Valley!!  We fell in love the valley of this golf course designed by well-known Pete Dye as quoted on the website:

Start on the subtle valley front nine winding between the houses and the lake.  Then the spectacular finish on mountain nine, the course ascends into the hills above the houses giving many breathtaking views of the valley and the San Bernardino Mountain range in the distance.

Fifteen golfers started out.   Congratulations to Michael Mabashov  for winning both gross and net score.  Seems he needs $ to feed his beloved baby.

Mark Bayarsky who tied with Michael on 17th hole but he blew on 18th with a 7 on par 3.   He also would have won with the lowest putting if not for 5 putts on 18th.  Too bad golf does not end on the 17th.

Welcome Jacob Edwards who is a hearing but uses ASL gained two CTPs and he looks forward to playing more with us in the future.

On 12th Robert Audette almost made an ace as the ball landed 2 feet from the hole.

The greens are unforgivingly TOUGH as the stimpmeter is around 12-13.  Farley who just won the National Pickleball Tournament in his age division knows how to tame them by hitting only 30 putts.

Overall, it was fun for everyone.

Mike
